Competitive Program

For those members who wish to compete, the Mid-Hudson Rowing Association offers a Competitive Rowing program. Practice and coaching schedules are dependent on the coach and competitors' schedules.

Several of our members compete regularly in masters sculling events (singles and doubles).  The club competes annually in the masters mixed eight and other sweep boat events at the Head of the Fish Regatta, Saratoga, NY at the end of October.

MHRA has sweep and sculling equipment available for members to race.

Coaching for races is available for sweep and scull rowers on request.

Sculling scrimmages are held periodically in the summer for local rowers.
